Jorge Campos’ tournamanet brought together two things I’ve always been passionate about, design and sport.

Campos has always represented something unique within both worlds. His individuality, fearlessness and unmistakable visual style challenged the idea of what a footballer, and football itself, was supposed to look like.

The direction was obvious: take inspiration from Jorge’s iconic designs and translate that visual language onto a soccer ball.

The execution was more complex. Working within the ball’s unique geometry and construction, we had to consider how the graphics interacted with individual panels, seams and the object as a whole, balancing Jorge’s visual energy with the realities of manufacturing.

The process was completely hands-on, from initial concepts and design through product development and production.

The final ball debuted at Torneo Jorge Campos, becoming part of the tournament experience and a collectible for fans and participants.

An amazing experience taking the visual language of one of football’s great originals and giving it a new canvas to live on.
